JUDGE REFUSES TO LIFT MEEK MILL’S BAN

Meek Mill can forget about his African tour and other various planned appearances outside of his hometown of Philadelphia this month.  According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Meek Mill's request to have his travel restrictions loosened was shot down by a judge on Monday.

The Maybach Music rapper had earlier been placed on restricted travel in November for missing a court appearance in relation to a previous drug and gun conviction. Meek Mill had planned to tour West Africa before the end of year. Meek had planned to perform in Lagos, Nigeria and Libreville, Gabon.

Judge Genece Brinkley ruled Monday that Meek Mill can't travel anywhere until Jan. 16, outside of an upcoming Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. "You need to get yourself together. You are going to be home for Christmas and New Year's" Brinkley said during Meek's hearing yesterday.
