It had to be Jay-Z and Beyonce… two of the most successful and influential musicians of our time and now they have the title to claim it. According to Vogue, Bey and Jay have been named the first billionaire couple in music history. This is all thanks to their big power moves in the boardroom. While most where watching the "Cash Kings" list by Forbes, Bey and Jay were steady on their grind and these are the results.

"While both husband and wife have enjoyed equally successful careers, it's thought that BEYONCÉ's current world tour and recent collaborations with PEPSI and H&M have pushed the couples' earnings over the billion dollar mark. According to tabloid reports, the singer will make approximately $116 million from 'The Mrs Carter Show', while her H&M earnings are also thought to be in the millions."

In addition to his music, Jay Z is the co-founder of ROC NATION, co-owner of the 40/40 nightclub, co-creator of fashion label ROCAWEAR, former DEF JAM RECORDINGS CEO and owns shares in the BROOKLYN NETS.
 
FORBES named the couple, who were married in 2008 and gave birth to daughter BLUE IVY CARTER last year, the  highest paid celebrity couple of 2012.
