[INTERVIEW]: Parrot's Voice Chats with Bosun,A Promoter/ Artist manager of Parrot Entertainment

He is a young, fabulous, talented and all things promising. Bosun is a Talent/Artist manager. His patriotism is desirable and so is his passion for promoting upcoming artist. Here is what he has to say.

Parrot's Voice: Describe PEG & What inspired the name, PEG?

Bosun Parrot: PEG is short for Parrot Empire Gang, its a subsidiary of PARROT ENTERTAINMENT, and the name Parrot was derived from our blog name HIPHOP PARROT , with the slogan "we are the lips of hip-hop" and we dish out hip-hop news, gossips and update on regular basis, so we were termed "hip-hop parrot", and few months ago myself and management team came up with the idea of creating an Empire (PEG) for musical talent promotion and coming up big to shake the industry as a GANG.

PV: You're young, gifted and making things happen, how does that feel?

Bosun Parrot: Wow! I must confess it feels great, if not that I mention that we just started few months ago, people thought it has been a journey of years, owing to our achievements even through the challenges but I thank God for his support.

PV: Have you always been musically inclined or was it a spontaneous decision?

Bosun Parrot: *smiles*.... I love music and have done couple of tracks but I believe there are much more talented dudes that are far better than I am, but Entertainment is a passion that flows through my blood since my childhood, Mama told me am always happy and Healthy when I hear them talk about party or at the sound of music.

PV: What led to the formation of PEG?

Bosun Parrot: Love for music and Entertainment, the desire to promote and give voice to talents not yet discovered and an opportunity to create what I have loved hearing (music)

PV: How many artists have you signed or Promoted?

Bosun Parrot: hmmmm; well officially we have on board the fast rising star "Taleen" a.k.a #SE KO WA LE / #OTIPEGAN but trust me we've got some dope dudes on board and they will be introduced officially soon, I have promoted some A and B class artiste which I can't reveal their identities yet until you see for yourself the work we have done together.

PV: What are you currently working on? Any new music?

Bosun Parrot: So many dope songs in the PEG library, Nigerians and our fans should anticipate good stuffs only and just to mention that we just dropped a hit song titled #OTIPEGAN by Taleen ft. EME fynest Skales, we call it project "PEG/EME"

PV: One thing I have noticed about you is your dope sense of style. Where does it originate from?

Bosun Parrot: **Blushes**. Am a fashion loving type and prefer to spend my last cash on my outfits and upkeep, I see my self as a fashion model, have done couple of runway modelling for Buga wears and few other stylist. But all said am still learning the art

PV: How do you manage to juggle both school and music?

Bosun Parrot: Am a graduate but still planing to further more if time permits me, then I could remember I find it difficult to juggle between entertainment and work because I worked professionally for 3 multinational companies as a process/automation technician (Engineering), which are Consolidated Breweries, Guinness Nigeria plc and International Brewery, before I decided to face fully what I love doing and am happy doing "entertainment".

PV: What has the journey been like in the music industry, is it a long term career or a hobby?

Bosun Parrot : hmmmm that's a tough one, Entertainment is a career but will be investing back in some other industry soon.

PV: Five years from now,Team PEG will be?

Bosun Parrot: Most formidable Team In Africa.... Nothing but the BEST!!!!

PV: Who would you like to your artists to
collaborate with both on the continent and internationally? And why?

Bosun Parrot: Within? It will be Skales and that has been achieved, plus looking forward to work with Phyno so fans hold onto that, we making it big.

Internationally Rick Ross because of his unique voice and kind of style, and lil wayne u know that's a crazy dude and will love to work with him soon and not forget the industry's best Usher and Chris Brown

PV: Of what importance is your education even though you're doing well in the music biz?

Bosun Parrot : Education is foundation in everything, if not for education am sure I can't really do well in the Entertainment industry like this because you need to express yourself much and understand some basic things which education has helped me achieve and it also depends on the type and form of education, so its key.

PV: What are some of the challenges you've faced in the industry?

Bosun Parrot: hmmm so many.. intimidation, recognition, financial and many more amongst others, but with level of maturity, determination and God I could overcome all.

PV: What's your Motto as the CEO of PEG that keeps you focused?

Bosun Parrot: Its a funny quote we originated but has been useful "Its either we make it or we make it" so you see no compromise in it and what keeps me moving is the feeling that a brighter future is near

PV: Who are the known celebrities you are friends with or hangout with in Nigeria

Bosun Parrot: Wow... loads of 'em except some few that I can't wait to chill with but soon we will be together, the likes of D'Banj, 2face and Asa

PV: Do you have any last words to the youth out there?

Bosun Parrot : Be focused, determined and believe in your dream, never give up, never compromise. It might be long but it will surely come, Bosun Parrot say so!!!!
