RICK ROSS SET FOR NEW ALBUM, MAKES MOVIE DEBUT
MMG boss is all guns blazing in 2013. Barely six months after his fifth album, "God Forgives; I Don't!", he keeps looking to edge out his rap competition with the release of yet another solo LP. The new album is titled "Mastermind". Rozay announced the name of his upcoming sixth compilation in grand fashion.
After delaying the original date, January 1, announcement by a week, the rapper took to his Twitter page on Monday afternoon (January 7) to rev up fans for his God Forgives, I Don't follow-up. "Mastermind," he tweeted with a link to a cinematic trailer for the LP.
The clip starts off with soulful backing music while a young lady thumbs through some classic pieces of vinyl by artists like Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Sade before she stops at Curtis Mayfield's soundtrack for the 1972 film "Super Fly." You definitely want to see the trailer.
In similar fashion, Rick Ross makes his Hollywood debut in the Starz Network production tagged "Magic City". The series is based around the owner of Miami's most prestigious hotel and how he tries to keep his property away from his mafioso partner. The series is set in the late 50′s. Watch Out !
